Our values

The core of our culture should always be to be ambitious about what we do. That we all want to grow our own competencies as well at Engage. This means that we focus on ambitious goals and celebrate progress - both concretely in getting work done and progressing but also in the learning process we experience as a company and as individuals.

We are a small company that will only survive if we’re all ambitious and want to reach ambitious results. We’re not a big company where there could be a position where one would just turn up and wait for the phone to ring. We seek to go boldly where no human has gone before us.

Our current client, investor and people relations have grown out of courage. The courage to ask, to believe that we can succeed in our endeavors even though others have failed and the courage to believe in each other. We seek to inspire courage in each other and expect everyone to do the same. We wish that people try and fail. That is how a learning organization operates - because failing is the hard part of succeeding.

We wish to be a company that “go boldly where no human has gone before us.” To do this, we need you to challenge any paradigm that may prevent us from succeeding. Please challenge management, challenge your teammates and challenge our customers to be the best we can be. So rather ask for forgiveness (for trying) than for permission.

It is always too early to give up when executing on your plan. Things take longer than planned and customers never do exactly as expected. We expect everyone to stay on the task, on the track and on the  ball. We spend little time on excuses and on explanations for deviations. Instead, we ask that you provide suggestions, that you take initiative and demonstrate taking responsibility for getting us on target. So remember - It is always too early to give up

And Fun

Amongst our areas of competencies/expertise is gamification or ‘making boring stuff fun’. By fun we mean easy, social, meaningful and rewarding. We appreciate to entertain but always with a purpose. We wish to collaborate with each other, care for each other and contribute positively to each other’s and our user’s lives. We seek to create workplaces that motivate initiative and performance. A place where everyone feels safe in goofing out, suggest lame ideas and make mistakes. Fun is fundamental to ENGAGE.
